Ingredients   : 

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
2 pork chops
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/4 onion, sliced
1/2 cup Korean soju

Direction   : 

Heat butter and olive oil over high heat in a skillet.

Sprinkle pepper and salt over pork chops to season; arrange pork chops in
the skillet with hot oil; cook, about 3 minutes on each side, until
evenly browned on both sides.

Lower the heat to medium; carry on cooking for about 6 minutes longer until center is no longer
pink and an inserted instant-read thermometer into the center of
pork registers 145 ° F (63 ° C).

Take pork chops out of the skillet; put aside. Put sliced onion into
the skillet; cook and mix for about 5 minutes until onion becomes
tender and transparent.

Mix in soju and lemon juice, scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for
about 2 more minutes until liquid has reduced.

Season mixture with pepper and salt. Sprinkle the sauce over pork chops to serve.
